My friend Geoff is one cool dude. I’m really, really happy I met him. He’s one of those rare people that you find in your life where you can automatically talk to them about anything, and they can automatically talk to you about anything and then you spend hours and hours talking about nothing.
Then, there’s me. Hanging out on the beach, just like I do about four days a week. I live in Paradise. Utopia. It doesn’t get better than here. (Except for the mosquitoes and other bugs and the rats and the mice and the discrimination and the poverty… but why would I dwell on the negative?)
The locals. Fascinating. I’ve heard that they sometimes get angry if you take pictures of them. So, I do it from inside Bush Taxis.

I also took a video clip of a 360-degree view of what I saw in Tanji. Clickity Clack Here (I’ve suddenly got about ten new mosquito bites on my body. If you don’t hear from me for a couple of days in the next week or so, it’s because I’ve got Malaria and am thinking I’m going to die. Morbid? Perhaps… but it’s the reality that I face: every single mosquito bite could mean that I have contracted Malaria.) |
